So, when you arrange a business meeting within business premises to discuss business, what possible reason could there be for switching the venue to the coffee shop down the road?  Neutral territory, or the avoidance of an open and frank discussion?

I’ve recently undertaken some training on discovering one’s colour energies and relating to the colour energies of others when communicating with them.  I discovered that my primary energies are Blue – Cautious, Precise, Deliberate, Questioning and Formal. Not exactly a surprise – this is why I question the change of venue.  However, what did shock me was the suggestion that those blue energies can be perceived by others as Stuffy, Indecisive, Suspicious, Cold and Reserved. Stuffy!  Me?  No, I’m not conducting a Survey Monkey for an answer.  That’s a rhetorical question.

Never mind. Apparently, my secondary energies are Green – Caring, Encouraging, Sharing, Patient, Relaxed.  So I won’t get too bothered, unless of course everyone else perceives that as Docile, Bland, Plodding, Reliant and Stubborn.  Is that why I stubbornly resist a change in venue?
